Drought 2018 - Is that the future?

The year 2018 was the hottest and one of the most driest years since the beginning of the regular weather in 1881 records in Saxony.The experiences from this dry year are a big challenge for all affected decision-makers and actors. How are we prepared for this extreme weather in future? Which are there consequences when such extreme years become more frequent? Are the measures taken still suitable, or must they be adapted to the changed circumstances? And if so, how? This event will address these questions, provide the necessary information, show solutions and will give the possibility for discussion.
